Loved this book! - Bank holiday weekend end and full of anxiety and a weird floating head, no doubt due to being 52 and trying to run two business! Sat in garden and read Sarah's book. Felt much more grounded and human...and Im not going to write anymore then that, otherwise I would be trying to be perfect. Thank you Sarah, wish you were my friend..lol xxx (I wrote that in 1 minute and submitted)

I got this and the Sarah Rayners Menopause book as I have been having a rough time with anxiety lately. It's like the front cover a nice cup of tea with your most caring friend who happens to be an authority on anxiety. It's a very calming book you will understand that you are not alone. Some of the tips are excellent. It's also great to see a book like this that looks attractive and has been properly designed.

Very insightful, with a shared experience and empathy with Author. This book identifies the most misunderstood and crucial aspect of Anxiety. There is no magic cure for Anxiety, instead living along side it and not being in fear of it is the initial key to "taming the beast". As a long term chronic sufferer, I found a fresh outlook and different way of living with this highly under rated and sneered at illness.

Better than a dummies guide, the author has written it in the style of a friend who has been there already and makes it clear before purchase this book will not cure you. I've found it a useful resource to begin solving my anxiety issues, especially with the mantras and links to useful sites.
It's short and fairly easy to digest... and doesn't make you feel like a terrible, broken human, like so many of the other books I've read so. Thank you, Sarah.

I read one of Matt Haig’s books and he recommended this one by Sarah Rayner. I found this book easy to read, friendly, with some very powerful quotes. This book has really helped during a difficult time and I’m grateful to the author.

It was reassuring to read a book by another female sufferer with whom I can identify. I like the way the coping tips were presented, especially about anxiety being your friend - it made it easier for me to understand and hopefully put into practise.
